The EFT Process It is my experience that EFT is a wonderful first step to discovering emotional issues that create physical and emotional pain. Sometimes it is just the beginning and in order to get the most out of EFT, it is best to work with an experienced EFT practitioner, or a counselor or licensed psychologist trained in EFT. With that being said, I am unaware of any harmful side effects using EFT and it works great when using it for yourself. Please read the disclaimer below and remember that you need to take full responsibility for yourself and the application of this wonderful healing technique. Gary Craig the founder of EFT devised what he calls "The Basic Recipe," a tapping sequence that can be used in just about any situation, simply and easily. Preparing to Tap: Select a recent memory, experience, or problem that creates a negative emotion for you.
The Basic Recipe:
THE TAPPING POINTS When you are tapping use the tips of your first two fingers (you may use 3 fingers to make sure you hit the pressure point) and lightly tap, it does not give any better results to tap hard and you may injure yourself. KC - KARATE CHOP
EB - EYEBROW
SE - SIDE OF EYE
UE - UNDER EYE
UN - UNDER NOSE
CH - CHIN
CB - COLLARBONE
UA - UNDERARM
TH - TOP OF HEAD
